  1. A well-done job needs praise well expressed, not only the usual “You did a good job” you need to tell what job and what was the importance of the extra work mile the worker had done to reach the goal. Tell the employee that you like to see more action like the one that you are praising.

  2. Say thank you, show the value you have for the hard work and the extra contributing. Use the words please and thanks every time you ask for something; niceties are important between humans at work as well as any ware. The employees will appreciate a civilized workplace atmosphere.

  3. Now your co-workers after work interests like a family event, hobby or any important events. Show your genuine interest it will make your people feel valued and cared for by you. All year round will make your employees feel appreciated by you and the company. The positive feeling will pay you back in better productivity. Happy employees would not go to work with your competition.

  4. Offer a flexible schedule if it is possible in your industry. Let your people find a way to coordinate with the other co-worker’s post a calendar for the employees.

  5. Personalized the gift you offer as appreciation, learn what the interest of your co-workers is giving something that is personal show the importance you have towards the employees. Praising with participation in a committee, where employees can show to their superiors their skills, gain a reputation for ascending to a more senior position. Researchers randomly divided university fund-raisers into two groups. One group made phone calls to solicit alumni donations in the same way they always had. The second group—assigned to work on a different day—received a pep talk from the director of annual giving, who told the fund-raisers she was grateful for their efforts. During the following week, the university employees who heard her message of gratitude made 50% more fund-raising calls than those who did not.”
